Overall, the report found that Coca-Cola bottlers are upholding labor standards that have been ratified in Colombia, including respecting collective bargaining agreements and providing a safe working environment. Specifically, the report stated: “It should be noted that as regards working conditions, and in particular observance of the fundamental rights at work with regard to not using child labor, equality and non-discrimination, the company has made major efforts to ensure that the terms and conditions laid down in the relevant agreements and accords are adhered to. Similarly, it has implemented programs and plans designed to develop measures in relation to occupational safety and health and worker training in that area.”
